Frequently Asked Questions
Bee venom, also known as apitoxin, is a colorless, acidic liquid produced in the abdomens of worker bees. It contains pharmacologically important constituents such as melittin, apamin, hyaluronidase, phospholipase, and histamine.
Bee venom therapy is utilized in apitherapy for treating conditions like rheumatism and joint diseases due to its anticoagulant and anti-inflammatory properties. It's also used for treating rheumatic diseases, multiple sclerosis, high blood pressure, sciatica, psoriasis, various skin conditions, and burns. Additionally, bee venom is increasingly incorporated into cosmetic and pharmaceutical products, including creams and serums.
The Smart-Bee venom collector is an electronic device designed for beekeepers to collect bee venom efficiently. It features automatic operation, low power consumption, and can be powered by a built-in high-capacity battery or various portable USB sources. Each device can serve multiple panels simultaneously, reducing the total time required for collection.
The Smart-Bee device is designed to be bee-friendly, ensuring that the collection process is harmless to the bees. When a bee stings into the hard surface of the collecting panel, the stinger doesn't get caught, allowing the bee to pull it out easily without injury.
